Two years after his murder, a new book explores the life of George Floyd
Yesterday marked the second anniversary of George Floyd's murder at the hands of police in Minneapolis. His death touched off protests and a global movement for racial justice. Last night, Fred de Sam Lazaro and PBS NewsHour producer Sam Lane reported on a new book, “His Name Is George Floyd: One Man’s Life and Struggle for Racial Justice” which examines Floyd’s life and America’s ongoing struggle with systemic racism.
