Remembering Ken Freed

How a Minnesotan Honored the Musicians of Auschwitz

We are deeply saddened to learn of the untimely passing of stalwart music educator, conductor and violist Kenneth Freed. Last year, we featured Freed and the work of his Isles Ensemble concert memorializing the musicians who performed in Holocaust death camps.
